  • F Pop Base @PopBase An Al depiction of Val Kilmer is set to star in a film titled 'As Deep as the Grave.' Kilmer passed away last year from pneumonia amid his battle with throat cancer. His daughter Mercedes reportedly "gave her full blessing" for his likeness to be recreated.
  • george @georgiem2000 Mar 18 never understood why getting a family member's blessing is treated as the ethical end point for these ai people. like your family can be crass and profit motivated too. some people don't have a public persona to sell out so they sell out their families' instead. gross!
  • Em ♡ @emkenobi Follow ... Can we please stop using Al and CGI to bring people back who have passed. It's disrespectful to them and isn't even remotely meaningful to the audience because it's not real. It's a cheap mimic of a human being and a computer is never going to be able to replicate the talent of these actors. Not to mention it's K NG THE PLANET. AI should be banned from movies.
